From Intuitive Beginnings to Present...

As someone who has always known there is more to life than what meets the eye, and that we are all meant to not just survive, but THRIVE, I have been on a mission to help people become better versions of themselves for over 16 years.

You know when you get these whispers that tell you to do something, but you ignore it, claiming that it sounds ‘illogical’ and preposterous?

From the time I was 4 or 5 years old, I can recall getting intuitive nudges and messages from what I know now, as the Divine.  It may sound woo woo or over the top for some, but I know now that what has been speaking to me since that early age was my inner wisdom coming through my intuition.

I have always been an intuitive person.  I come from a line of women who are intuitive, and my mom even has lovingly called us ‘Witchy Women’.  I can’t say I mind that title!

Today, I am more than honored to be able to help driven, overachieving solopreneurs end the struggle with themselves so that they can have the abundance in life that they have always desired, unapologetically.  Between The Empowered Warrior Podcast, My Group Programs, and My 1 to 1 Coaching, I have been able to help thousands achieve the life and the business that they have always wanted.

My Story...from a Solopreneur Clinician to Discovering My Dharma…

Well, this was me, in 2012.  I was newly married and had a successful, 4 year-old growing Acupuncture practice in Boston that I built from scratch.  For the first time in my life, in my mid 30s,  I had on paper what would appear as the dream business.  I worked for myself in Copley Square, and I was reminded daily how much I loved Boston and how good I had it as a solopreneur working in a desirable and exciting neighborhood.  Truly, I was grateful.  I had great patients, a nice office, steps away from the Copley T stop, and ‘all the things’.   Oh, and did I mention that I became REALLY good at driving in Boston?

I enjoyed what I did, and I got to witness my patients heal from all types of ailments.  I got to witness patients cancel their surgeries because they healed naturally with the help of Acupuncture.  I saw babies be born to parents who were trying for years to conceive, and Acupuncture helped them achieve their dream of becoming parents.  I worked with athletes of all kinds, amateur and professional, and I loved and appreciated their grit, determination, and resilience when it came to their commitment to being an athlete.

But even then, there was this ache within me.   I felt like I was always in hustle mode, between going to networking events, keeping up with all of the duties of having a practice,  and commuting into Boston day in and day out.  I often worked until 7 or 8pm, then took the train or drove home, often getting home after 9pm.  This lifestyle not only affected my marriage, but it affected my relationship with myself.  I felt there was never enough time to just BE, and nurture that part of me who knew there was something else I was supposed to be doing.

I can remember driving home at night after a full day of seeing my wonderful patients, but I felt empty.  There was this yearning that I had, but I couldn’t put a finger to it.

Interestingly, around 2012, I learned about a few online influencers in the health and wellness space, and became kind of obsessed with the idea of an online business.  I listened to these online influencers’  podcasts on my  commute to and from Boston, and dreamed of having my own online business one day.  Of course, the stories came into play often.  ‘I’m an acupuncturist; acupuncturists don’t work online’, ‘only a lucky few are able to work online and make it’, or my favorite, ‘what do I have to offer online as an acupuncturist?’.

Apparently, I was really tied up in an identity that was no longer serving me.

I continued practicing for another 5 years when I read a post that one of my coach friends wrote online.  I can’t remember what she wrote exactly, but at this point, it wasn’t a matter of what the words were, but it was a matter of how that post made me feel.  I knew that she was the coach for me, and 2017 was the year when I started to make those scary, but exhilarating investments.  I knew I was meant for more and I took the leap.

Fast forward to 2021...

Quite honestly, I never intended to be a coach.  It wasn’t in my master plan and if you told me back in my Clinic days that I would be a coach, I wouldn’t have believed you.

But like John Lennon once said,

“Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.”

Even though I will always love Chinese Medicine, I have found the coaching process to allow me to go really deep with clients, and as a result, they get the lasting results that they DESIRE.

I am excited and grateful that I have found my life purpose, my Dharma, and I have the privilege to serve my clients in this exciting way.

When I’m not coaching and running the business, you will find me writing, singing, and  spending as much time as possible observing and immersing myself in the outdoor world.  2020 has also taught me that I love being home more than I realized, spending quality time with my husband, Grenville, my rescue dog, Ayla, and my two rescue cats, Natalie and Belle.

Using my unique Reclaim Your F.I.R.E. method, I am one of the few coaches out there that uses Chinese Medicine, along with Brain Habits, Energy Balance and Sprituality to help clients obtain the prosperity and abundance that they desire in order to be The Empowered Warrior that they know they are.
