Fear is the Disease of 2020

For solopreneurs, fear can show up in very obvious ways, but often, it shows up in a more subtle way in the form of physical pain, sabotage, and procrastination.

As a fellow solopreneur, I totally get this.  When I had my acupuncture practice, I would often get into fear about money, which kept me in survival mode and prevented me from thriving.

It showed up for me as:

  1. Attracting patients who did not show up for appointments or would cancel at the last minute.

  2. Staying in ‘safe’ mode, meaning, I didn’t do anything new in my business, especially if I felt it would ‘rock the boat’, or repel clients in any way. This blocked my creativity and prevented me from creating the project I always wanted to launch.

  3. Never having enough money, constantly worrying about money, or constantly pinching pennies.

  4. Physical pain, especially in the lower back, dull headaches, or hormonal issues.

  5. Insomnia, especially as a result of stress and fear-induced circumstances.

Winter is quickly approaching in the northern hemisphere, which means so is the season of the kidney in Chinese Medicine.

Successful solopreneurs know that in order to have financial abundance and a successful business, it is important to realize that being out of alignment in the kidney channel will result in more fear, less action, and as a result, low-quality health and/or a low-quality business.

You have a choice...staying in fear and being safe, or busting your beliefs and growing your business.

You can’t have both.
